I’ve been wondering about curriculum can become more miscellaneous (and self-directed, nonlinear, etc.) or whether sequencing and prerequisite skills and knowledge are too important.
That’s a key question. I don’t know, other to guess that it’ll be some hybrid. But we do have to get better at teaching our kids the skills for putting together (and traversing) their own webs of knowledge. Telling them they can’t use the Internet for research isn’t going to do the trick. Not hardly.
